Letter to Trump

Dear Mr. President,

I’m a Californian employed by the US Army Corps of Engineers.  I've lost all faith in and no longer trust America’s government.  My mistrust stems from a multitude of issues, some of which I’ve chronicled in relative order.

• In 1963, John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. Ever since the killing, controversy has raged over whether a lone gunman or a cabal of conspirators committed the murder.  Lyndon Johnson, Kennedy’s successor, ordered an investigation that gave us the Warren Commission.  Their final report has since been rendered suspect.  The government’s official position is that Lee Harvey Oswald, a disillusioned military veteran and defector to Russia, acted alone in shooting Kennedy from the sixth floor of the Texas Schoolbook Depository Building with an Italian bolt-action rifle.  No conclusive motive has ever been established for Oswald’s actions.  Eye-witness accounts of the assassination and the investigation immediately following the shooting do not support the Warren Commission Report that asserts Oswald acted alone, but suggest another gunman on the so-called grassy knoll down the street from the depository building was involved.  Today, it is widely believed that the federal government knows the details of the events of that fateful day but will not share them with the American people.  Why not?  This kind of subterfuge shakes the very foundation of trust in government.  

• Following the JFK assassination and into the Richard M. Nixon administration, the United States engaged in a war with then North Vietnam on behalf of South Vietnam’s government, ostensibly to prevent North Vietnamese communists from taking control of the south and spreading communism throughout Southeast Asia, including Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand. Since, constitutionally, only Congress is authorized to declare war on another nation, the conflict was defined as several military actions other than “war.”  That misrepresentation was the government’s first lie to the American people.  The second and more egregious lie was a justification for the war.  To this day, no one has clearly defined the reason for engaging in that conflict, but everyone knows it had nothing to do with stopping the spread of communism.  Communism thrives in that part of the world.  Over 58,000 American soldiers were killed in Vietnam, a war that had the military so restricted in its rules of engagement that it was defeated from the start.  Bombing Hanoi was forbidden.  Encroaching into Cambodia to intercept North Vietnamese replenishment efforts in the south was off limits.  It seemed the United States did not want to win the war but was determined to make a show of it.  Why?  Robert McNamarra wrote an apologetic book outlining the failings of political leadership in conducting the war, but no reason for carrying out the conflict was ever given.  Why were so many soldiers allowed to die for absolutely no good reason?  America is entitled to know why its children were sent off to Asia to die.       

• The needless civil rights legislation of the ‘60s only served to emphasize racial inequality rather than eliminate it. This legislation was utterly unnecessary and only served as a smoke screen for political manipulation and the acquisition of power.  The US Constitution, then as it does now, provides for the protection of all races and sexes.  The redundant civil rights legislation served only to distract from the government’s quest for power and control over its people.  In 1963, Lyndon Johnson, sponsor of the civil rights measures, said privately, “I'll have them niggers voting Democratic for the next two hundred years". That was the true purpose of the legislation: continued disrespect for a race for no other purpose than political gain.  Even then, sixty years ago, the Democrat Party knew it could not survive without being propped up artificially.  Responsibility and accountability to the American people were abandoned in the 1960s and have never been restored.  The following points will illustrate this continued dereliction. 

• Jimmy Carter’s failure as a president was cataclysmic, and Congress was complicit in his failed administration. When Carter came to office in 1976, the United States was heavily dependent on the Middle East for oil. Still, it purposely jeopardized imports by adopting an adversarial political posture with Middle Eastern countries, particularly Iran.  The United States-backed Shah of Iran was overthrown, and the militant religious Muslims took over the government.  They stormed the American Embassy in Tehran and took 66 hostages that they held for over a year.  Why did the United States interfere in Middle Eastern affairs then, and why is it interfering now?  In 1979, Iran was not a nuclear threat to anyone, but America needed Middle Eastern oil.  The government did not care about the hardship it imposed on its people by interrupting that flow of oil.  Something political was more important.  Jimmy Carter made a ridiculous show of trying to rescue the hostages, and he made himself and America a laughingstock.  Ronald Reagan had no trouble getting the hostages released.  Some say he traded arms to the Contras of Central America to secure the release of the hostages.   The so-called Iran-Contra controversy was never fully explained and remains a political mystery today.  What really happened and why?  

• The scandals of the Clinton administration are too extensive to enumerate here. How was Bill elected in the wake of the Gennifer Flowers fiasco?  Gary Hart was blackballed from American politics for engaging in extramarital affairs only four years earlier, yet Bill Clinton was swept into the White House.  What allowed for that kind of shell game to be leveled against the American people?  Clinton should never have been allowed to mount a presidential campaign, let alone sustain an election.  And after the Monica Lewinsky scandal, how could Clinton be allowed to remain in office?  He blatantly lied to America on national TV about having a relationship with Lewinsky, and that lie was ignored.  Why?  Many politicians have had their careers ruined for less, yet the Clintons thrive even today.  What was the truth behind the Vince Foster suicide?  His body was found in Fort Mercy Park in Virginia, and the death was declared suicide, but very little blood was found at the scene.  All indications at the time pointed to Foster being killed elsewhere.  Where?  Why?  U.S. Park Service Police took the lead in the investigation, not the FBI, and nothing was concluded beyond suicide. The details surrounding Foster’s death, however, were sketchy and contradictory.  Foster was the deputy consul to the president, with a history in Arkansas involving the Clintons that embroiled him in banking and real estate scandals the Clintons could not explain.  Why was the Attorney General silent on Foster’s death?  Why was there no investigation into the questionable banking and investment dealings that the Clintons continually sidestepped?  In one year, Hillary turned a thousand-dollar investment in cattle futures into a hundred-thousand-dollar return.  Really?  And there was the matter of firing White House travel office workers so the Clintons could install their cronies.  That was completely swept under the carpet.  And Clinton’s association with Jeffrey Epstein?   The Clinton administration was openly crooked and corrupt but never investigated.  The Clintons today continue to flaunt their prestige of being above the law with absolute impunity.  

• On September 11, 2001, Al Qaeda terrorists flew two hijacked jetliners into the World Trade Center in New York City, collapsing the buildings and murdering 3,000 Americans. The attack rivaled that of Japan’s on Pearl Harbor in 1941.  The September 11 attack was not the first to be perpetrated upon the World Trade Center by Islamic terrorists.   Why were those previous attacks played down?  Muslims have had it in for America as far back as the Carter administration. Still, the danger posed to America by Muslim hatred for the United States was never confronted by our political or military leadership.   Why weren’t we ready?  Why wasn’t this attack prevented?  And why do we continue to ignore the Muslim threat to America?  George Bush instituted the Department of Homeland Security because he said the FBI and the CIA had intelligence that they did not share, which led to the destruction of the World Trade Center.  If the FBI and the CIA were indirectly responsible for the attack, why are those agencies still in operation today?  Why do we have three national security agencies instead of one?  Why does the federal government protect the CIA in this climate of changing political and military strategies?  Why is the federal government so bloated on the national security side when clearly all these collective intelligence services are failing in their responsibility to protect national security? 

• And then came along Barack Hussein Obama. The controversy surrounding his political convictions outweighed the significance of his inexperience.  Obama’s policies from the outset were decidedly racist and communist.  The media protected him to the point of lying about his place of birth and covering up his White ancestry.  Everything about Obama was a lie, but the opposition did nothing to combat the deceit.  Nothing Obama brought to the White House was good for America.  He purposely divided the country along racial lines and bragged about doing it.  He brokered an alliance with Iran, America’s sworn enemy, and engineered a plan to make them a nuclear power.  He even propped up their failing economy with a gift of $18 billion in cash.  That’s $18 billion in taxpayer dollars that he threw at a nation that vowed to destroy us and had tried on several occasions!  Obama’s Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, was caught red-handed running weapons to the Mexican cartels early in Obama’s first term.   Obama’s media tried to sell the story that Emanuel was trying to illustrate the need for gun control.  What?  If you look up Emanuel today, Google will have you believe this event never happened.  The story has been completely whitewashed, but it happened, and the government buried it.  More lies to protect government transgression.  Obama’s presidency was a concert of treason, and no one did anything to stop him.  The only thing more repulsive than Obama’s abuse of power was the opposition’s unwillingness to expose him for the enemy of the state that he was and remains. Barack Obama’s political education came from the likes of Bill Ayers, the American communist of the late 1960s who founded the Weather Underground, the radical leftist ancestor to Obama’s Black Lives Matter and Antifa.  Barack Obama was and is an avowed communist, but his political persuasion was never publicized by the media and was ignored by his political opposition.  The entire federal government stood by and welcomed an avowed communist to become president in the name of a historic first.  Today, the United States is marching along on a social and political path that resembles the old Soviet Union more than it does the old United States.  Where in the Constitution that Obama swore to uphold is he allowed to unilaterally transfer a sixth of the nation’s economy into government control?  That’s what he did with Universal Health Care.  He confiscated a sixth of the economy and placed it into the federal government, then mandated that every American buy the government-managed health insurance.  That was and is criminal.  He had no right to do that, and yet Congress let him do it.  A seizure of power and control, the very thing the Founding Fathers of this country fought Great Britain to escape, is perpetrated on the American people.  Disgraceful.  The only thing more disgraceful is that no one did a thing about it, not even the courts that cannot stop interfering with your practices, Mr. President.  And how was Barack Hussein Obama empowered to build up the Iranian government?  If keeping Iran nuclear-weapon-free was so vital to America’s interests, why did Barack Obama go out of his way to assist Iran in developing nuclear capability?  Carter and Obama were Democrats, but decidedly different in their regard for Iran.  Why?  Why is the United States so vocally adversarial toward Iran and its Middle Eastern allies, but so tolerant of their existence?  Islamic terrorists have attacked America on American soil since the 1990s, yet we do not make any attempt to destroy Iran.  We allow Muslim immigration, even though Muslims are outwardly seeking American destruction.  Muslims even occupy Congress!  Something does not add up.  The Middle Eastern threat to American national security is being ignored.  Why?  Why does America swear allegiance to Israel but coddle Iran and its allies?  

• The only thing worse than Barack Obama was his communist comrade, Hillary Clinton, another Ayers disciple.  Where does one begin to account for her shenanigans?  She was involved in Vince Foster’s so-called suicide, which is why the FBI did not investigate Foster’s death.  She was embroiled in the Whitewater real estate scam in Arkansas, the stock market manipulation of cattle futures that turned a thousand dollars into a hundred thousand in one year.  She threatened the lives of her husband Bill’s sexual assault victims, including Paula Jones, Juanita Broaddrick, and Kathleen Willey, if they refused to shut up and fade away, which they did.  Hillary Clinton is a walking mockery of law enforcement.  The FBI’s cover-up of Hillary Clinton’s egregious felonies is legendary.  Benghazi, the American Embassy fiasco that got four Americans killed, including an ambassador, at the hands of riotous Muslims who were purportedly reacting to a non-existent anti-Islam video.  There was no such video, and no explanation has ever been provided to justify the attack or the unfortunate results.  Then, of course, there was Hillary’s private server and her association with Jeffrey Epstein.  Why no investigations?  The Clinton Foundation is perhaps the sleaziest slush fund in American history, yet it continues unabated.  Why wasn’t it ever investigated?  Why are the Clintons above the law?   

• How about the blatant attempts to destroy you, Mr. Trump, upon entering office? More Hillary felonies.  The Russia hoax.  Total nonsense orchestrated entirely by Hillary Clinton and her cronies in the FBI, who refused to indict her.  The hotel bed-wetting scandal, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page.  Complete slander and libel, yet no investigations.  Republican legislators constantly scream foul, but they do nothing.  Is that because Hillary Clinton quarterbacked the whole thing?   Everything about the entire Russiagate scandal was swept under the rug, but General Mike Flynn, Roger Stone, Peter Navarro, and Martha Stewart were all imprisoned for having done so much less.  How does Hillary Clinton continue to skate through complete neglect?  It was ultimately proven that Obama, Clinton, and their Democrat cohorts spied on your original presidential campaign.  Proven, not alleged.  Why no indictments?  Why no prison time for the Left?  

• And probably one of your favorites, the phony election of 2020. No one, not even the Democrats, believes the 2020 election was legitimate.  How can anyone take that election seriously?  The numbers don’t add up.  On the surface, we have a non-campaigner ending up with more votes than Obama in 2008 and 2012, and Hillary in 2016.  How does that happen?  You get 75 million votes, you’re sailing into an electoral college victory on election night when, all of a sudden, everything stops and new results miraculously surface.  States you have in the bag go over to Biden.  The whole election night results are turned on their ear for no good reason, no explanation.  Evidence surfaced of ballot box stuffing.  This election was completely manufactured by the Left, and the courts did nothing.  Congress did nothing.  The RNC did nothing.  America was scammed, cheated out of the presidency they voted for, and nothing was done.  

• As if the debacle of the election was not enough, less than a year later, the nation is clobbered by the COVID-19 crisis. The media frenzied to cover this up and portray it as a pandemic that was written like a poorly produced B-movie.  The government, in an unprecedented power grab, illegally destroyed small businesses with unnecessary shutdowns.  What constitutional right did Biden have to force isolation and behavioral restrictions on the American people?  Biden acted for no other reason than to exercise power and control over the helpless. Governor Cuomo of New York forced defenseless elderly victims into nursing homes where they died from treatment, and nothing was done.  Cuomo walks free today after murdering hundreds of citizens.  Large businesses and corporations were not subjected to closures.  Why not?  Government was exempt from the rules levied against the rest of us.  The virus originated in Wuhan, China, a laboratory under Tony Fauci’s management, but the government completely lied about that.  They did everything to shield Tony Fauci from complicity.  Today, Fauci is a medical professor and an acclaimed medical pioneer.  He should be in jail.  Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., knows the crimes Fauci committed, but it is RFK, Jr.’s legitimacy that is being scrutinized, not Fauci’s.  That transcends scandal.  That is criminal.  More government seizure of power and control over the American people.  We are no longer citizens, Mr. President.  We are subjects of a ruthless and crooked government.   

• What can be more illustrative of a dishonest government than Joe Biden’s entire administration? His puppet presidency was a complete sham.  The only real question was who was in control?  The public had every right to know who was representing them, but that information was concealed from the public.  Speculation had Barack Obama calling the shots; others said it was the Secretary of State.  Some speculation had Jill Biden running the country.  The point is, the people, those who are said to be the government, the government of, for, and by the people, did not know.  We still don’t know.  The “Autopen” is the latest distraction to deflect the question of who was acting for Joe Biden.  Joe and Hunter Biden are both criminals.  Tony Bobolinski, a Biden crony, came forward and blew the whistle on the Biden crime family, but Congress neglected to listen.  Bobolinski had names, dates, and events that would have crucified Biden had Congress investigated.  Hunter Biden was illegally conducting business in China and Ukraine and sending profits to Joe, but Congress did nothing.   How can a free society exist in harmony without knowing who and what their government is?  We do not know.  The government is so bloated, so profoundly huge that we can’t know who is doing what, why, or when.  Joe Biden’s open border was a profound threat to national security, to public safety, to the very principles to which our government is supposed to be responsible.  How was Joe Biden thrust into office?  Who put him there?  He was not elected by the people, and the people deserve to know why they were shafted and by whom.  What really happened on election night in November 2020?   

• Today, the government of the United States is made up of bureaucrats we laughingly refer to as the Swamp. Except, I do not laugh.  The federal government in Washington, D.C. alone, employs nearly 200,000 people.  For what?  To deceive and manipulate Americans.  I watch my government continue daily to expand its power and control over the people they are supposed to serve.  We have three national security agencies to protect the country and enforce the U.S. Constitution.  The CIA, the Department of Justice, and the Department of Homeland Security are doing none of that.  Mexican cartels make billions of dollars from America through drug smuggling and human trafficking, and they thrive.  The media rhetoric condemns the activity, but the federal government does nothing to stop it.  The cartels operate so freely, one would think it is under the protection of America’s government, those three security agencies that are laughed at by the Mexican criminal empire.  Are you kidding me?  The CIA, the Department of Justice, and the Department of Homeland Security cannot take these vermin down?  If that is truly the case, all three agencies need to be disbanded and shut down.  Crime is out of control across the nation.  Our federal government is embroiled in scandal after scandal.  Nancy Pelosi is guilty of insider trading, the Clintons are crooked as can be, and the entire Democrat Party has gone communist and anti-American.  Our culture has been replaced with runaway immigration and unchecked domestic terror.  Americans no longer are safe in their homes, on the streets, in our universities, or on our subways, and the government’s answer is gun control.  I don’t want gun control.  I want criminal control.  I want my government to enforce the constitution it swore to uphold.  I do not want the government to work for its own purposes, sustaining and growing itself.  I don’t want politicians going to Washington, D.C., to become millionaires on the backs of the taxpayers.

I want the government to be by, for, and of the people as it was originally intended.  I want taxes reduced.  I want foreign aid eliminated.  I want our armed forces returned from foreign nations to protect our country and to be turned loose against the Mexican cartels that are destroying Americans’ ability to live freely and safely.  I want my country back.
